Moscow5 to face Garaj Gaming in WCG2012 Russian qualifiers

Today the organizers of WCG2012 Dota 2 Russia Preliminary have announced their decision about the teams participating in the finals.
Let us remind you of the situation. The previous M5.BenQ roster consisting of PGG, Vigoss, Admir, Silent and Bl00dangel had gone through the qualification rounds right into the finals. But due to the disbandment of that roster, the team couldn't play on. So, the organizers had to find a replacement and they chose zNation, who had lost to M5 in the semifinals. But as we all know, Moscow 5 took 4 players from zNation, so the current M5.BenQ roster is allowed to play in the finals due to one player's replacement - Dread instead of KSI.
So, this is the current M5.BenQ Dota 2 squad:
 Igor 'Nexus' Lysakovskiy
 Ilya 'Stalianer' Drugov
 Alexey 'Solo' Berezin
 Andrey 'Dread' Golubev
 Vadim 'Sedoy' Musorin
In the finals, the Russian powerhouse will face Garaj Gaming, the mix-up team which consists of:
 NS
 Scandal
 blowyourbrain
 LightofHeaven
 Ars-Art

Diablo III Patch 1.0.5: Steps to Change Monster Power Level

Similar to the "Players X" command in Diablo II, Monster Power is a system designed to give players more control over how challenging enemies are in each difficulty.

Step 1: Open up the in-game Options menu (default: Esc) and select the Gameplay tab.
Step 2: Check the box next to "Monster Power" to enable it.
Step 3: Open up the Quest Selection window.
Step 4: Select your designed Monster Power level from the drop-down box near the bottom of the window, under "Difficulty Setting."
Step 5: Once you've set your Monster Power level, quest, and difficulty, click "Select Quest" to confirm.
Step 6: Enter game and profit!

"No Monster Power" is the default setting. Each Monster Power level will increase the health and damage of monsters, and in return players will receive scaling bonuses to experience (for heroes levels 1-60) as well as boosts to Magic Find and Gold Find (for heroes in Inferno) which will stack above the 300% cap. The option to increase Monster Power will be available to all players starting at level 1 and can be adjusted separately for Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno difficulty.

(Note: If you join a multiplayer game, you will adopt the Monster Level of the party leader. When you leave the party, your Monster Power level will automatically revert back to your previous setting.)

Five-Man Solo Ganks Are Now Possible

The patch update has arrived and has brought along 'Meepo, The Geomancer'.
Yes, all five of them.

First spotted in the image feed during The International and predicted to be as an incoming hero in Cyborgmatt's Patch analysis on September, 13th, The Geomancer has finally arrived. It appears that Valve has outdone itself this time around as releasing five heroes in a single patch, has never been witnessed before.
The following is an excerpt of the Changelog:
- Added Meepo!
- Added Meepo!
- Added Meepo!
- Added Meepo!
- Added Meepo!
- In the Test client, heroes will now randomly equip cosmetic items every time they spawn.
GAMEPLAY
- Pugna: Fixed Nether Ward briefly registering the incorrect team right after casting.
- Wisp: Fixed being able to Teleport a Tethered creep to the enemy base.
- Lich: Fixed Chain Frost being dodgable.
Although an extremely rare pick in competitive Dota games, Meepo was known to wreck havoc with a blink dagger initiation and subsequent team wipes. It was also the hero that garnered maximum experience throughout the game. It’s worth mentioning that the hero requires a fair amount micro-controlling skill and needs decent amount of practice.
With its inclusion Dota2, we would finally be able to get some hard statistics with respect to the average Gold-per-minute and Experience that its capable of accumulating. It would be safe to say that any previously set records for these statistics are in for a contest.
UI
- Pennants now work for any game that's part of a tournament.
The pennants have now been given relevance, post TI2, and will be enabled on every game that is part of a tournament.
