Who’s the Numb-er one now?

This week’s update continues our preparation to The International with more updates to our Spectator and Tournament systems.

First off we have a brand new Spectator view of the Hero Selection stage. Not only do we think it looks nicer, it also allows spectators to examine heroes and their abilities as they’re picked.

You will also find the Tournament panel will now track which matches you’ve watched and also adds the ability for viewers to rate them. You can rate from inside a live game or from the match details panel when inspecting a recent game.

Joindota’s The Defense is also pushing towards their finals and in anticipation we are running a Free Weekend for that Tournament. All Dota 2 players will be able to watch live games plus any replays starting tonight and lasting until Monday. Just in time to watch Mouz, CLG, Na’Vi and POTM Bottom duke it out.

Diablo III Armory Coming Soon

It is said that the armory that has been expected for a long time, is coming soon after the server maintain.

 Currently Blizzard has not confirmed the news and there will be detailed report later.

Surprise! DOTA2 Player Receives Gift from Valve

A group of players planned to hold a small LAN party in summer and emailed to VALVE for some help.

The host sent an email to VALVE. The major content are: they are hosting a summer LAN party and around 17 people attend. They will play DOTA2, CSS, TF2 and so on. They wish to have some VALVE related goodies to hand out as gifts or prizes for coming to the LAN. They also attached the activity page on facebook.

To their surprise, VALVE community manager Mary replied that they will see what they can do and asked for their mailing address. Players received gifts from VALVE soon.

England Top 20 PC Sales Ranking, Diablo 3 is the Second

Today, the sales ranking of last week is published, and Diablo III is the second. Since the release of the game, Diablo III has ever been top one for two months.
