1. Rend + Blood Lust
This skill is buffed a lot in patch 1.04.
As a tank, Barbarian’s AOE + HP regeneration enable him to kill around a group
of monsters. It is absolutely a major attack skill in patch 1.04. However, some
players don’t have a good effect after using this build. Why? Because Rend
causes enemies 700% weapon damage as physical over 5 seconds. The damage Rend
causes and blood it absorbs are only related with the character sheet DPS, not
the stats. That’s why players who stack stats have high damage but low Renddamage.
2. Cleave + Reaping Swing
The damage of this skill is increased in
1.04. But still, its major function is to generate fury rapidly so that
Barbarian can cast Rend successfully.
3. Leap + Iron Impact
This skill can help Barbarian move and
survive. Players who did not use this skill usually regret after they die. This
skill can help you get out of the wall casted by elite monsters.
4. War Cry + Impunity
This is a necessary skill for team fight.
5. Wrath of the Berserker
Earthquake, Hammer of the Ancients, and
Wrath of the Berserker are used for different usage. You can choose either one
according to your demand.
6. Ignore Pain + Iron Hide
In 100 games, you may not use this skill
for even once. However, you can’t ensure you won’t use it in the 101st game.
Here’s a little technique: set this skill as the middle button of the mouse so
that you won’t use it by mistake.
After patch 1.04, Barbarian’s attack
ability increases a lot. Usually, the normal buildings are all about Rend. In
order to maximize the damage caused by Rend, you have to have a good weapon
with high character sheet DPS just like two-handed weapons. If you use
two-handed weapons, you have to stack HP because you don’t have a shield. For
players who use Render mainly, you have to have add-physical weapons instead of
add-strength weapons. And full resistance stats, regenerate HP per hit stats
are also usable. According to STD’s test, Barbarian with 100,000 HP and 1,000
HP regeneration per second can stand still in Inferno A1 for 10 minutes without
being killed.
