Smash Bros director makes apologies for deleting characters

The game Smash Bros is coming soon for Wii U and 3DS. In the announced roster, many familiar faces are included, but don't expect every character from previous games to come back. Director Masahiro Sakurai is apologizing to fans in advance about potentially lost characters. "We're going to put in as many characters as we can, we really want to do that, because it's good for the fans and good for all of us," he said. "But in the event that we do have to cut some characters, I'd like to apologize in advance to those fans."

Sakurai told NowGamer that he doesn't expect every character to return simply because "we don't have the time to fully recreate every single character who's been in Smash Bros at this point." He points out that "adding new characters is not a simple addition--it's really multiplication. The amount of work, adding a character is multiplied and becomes bigger and bigger as you go."

Until now, all entries in the series have had a larger roster. But there are still some roles cut in favor of new ones over the years. For example, Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, Pichu, Roy, and Young Link were all cut when the franchise jumped from Gamecube to Wii. If the next Smash Bros does end up cutting a few characters, we do have a suggestion: one of the three Star Fox characters, perhaps?

Harold Ryan: 'Graphics are different between PS4 and Xbox One'

Harold Ryan, Bungie president says Destiny 'graphics are different on different platforms.

What isn't clear is whether this means between the PS4 and Xbox One (as is asked in the question Ryan's responding to) or between the next-gen and current gen versions.

Responding to our question on what kind of special features we can expect for PS4 and Xbox One for Destiny, Ryan replies: "We’re not committing right now to any specific platform features. The great thing for us with timing is that we were making a new engine, and then two new consoles were coming out, which led us to invest more into making the new engine for it.

“We have many opportunities to pursue, including full player experiences. We are looking into these and creating the core experience of Destiny, which will be similar across all the platforms. Its graphics are different from platform to platform, but the game will be excellent on all of them in a connected world.”

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 launching in the winter of 2014

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, sequel of Castlevania which is highly praised in 2010 will launch Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in the winter of 2014, according to Konami on its pre-E3 press briefing.

E3, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Konami, Dracula, MercurySteam, Enric Alvarez

"Lords of Shadow 2" picks up immediately after the events of the original "Lords of Shadow." Reprising the role of Dracula, players will be able to explore his scary-looking castle and the surrounding city, all the while performing the stylized dance-like combat that "Castlevania" is best known for.

Enric Alvarez, the "Lords of Shadow 2" game director at developer MercurySteam, said during Konami's announcements that his studio adapted the "Lords of Shadow" game engine to bring it more in line with modern third-person action games. Primarily, this translates to the game having shorter load times and a wider range of motion for the camera than previous "Castlevania" games.

"We wanted the game's world to grow organically and not level to level," Alvarez said. "In 'Lords of Shadow 2' you'll be able to walk freely all over the game's universe without loading times and with a very organic and real feeling."

Dracula also has a handful of new vampire-friendly weapons this time around, and his magic system has been replaced by a new energy source called "Dracula's Blood" which, as the name suggests, can only be replenished by killing things.

Konami will show Lords of Shadow on E3 with other games such as Metal Gear Solid 5 next week. Check out for the video below.

Twisted Fate: The Future is in Our Own Hands

While the future may be mysterious and unknown to most, Twisted Fate is certain that his future lies within the cards.

AD Twisted Fate who did tower dive was once one of the dominators in Summoner’s Rift, but then Riot nerfed AD Twisted Fate. Thus mid laner AP Twisted Fate appears.

Pros
a. Passive: While Twisted Fate is alive, he and his allies receive an additional 2 gold each time they kill a unit or destroy a structure. It’s one of the few buffs which affect the whole group (Zilean’s passive can increase the experience Zilean and all allied champions gain by 8%, and Janna’s passive increases her allies’ movement speed by 3%).
b. Pick A Card. It’s a powerful skill which can be used to restore mana, slow all enemies in a certain area and stun opponents. It enormously enhances the ability to stay on lane for a long time and the gameplay.
3. Gate enables him to teleport to the target location within range so that the situation may switch to 4v2 or 5v2. Thus he can win the battle.

Cons
a. Weak mobility. It’s common problem of many powerful champions.
b. He can be very powerful in late game if he gains advantage, but he will be very weak if he fails to gank in early game.
c. Weak ability on lane.
d. Squishy.

Runes

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration x9
Greater Seal of Armor x9
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist x9
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power x3
Normal AP runes are OK.

Masteries

21 offense, 0 defense and 9 utility: ensure strong output
You can also use 9 offense, 0 defense and 21 utility.

These two sets of runes tend to stay on lane for a long time and upgrade to level 6 in a short period: mana increase, life steal, experience increase, movement speed increase and Greed. I prefer the second one. Twisted Fate is a ganker. It’s more practical for him to upgrade to level 2 and gank on top or bottom lane than just staying on one lane and gain advantages.

Skill Points
Mainly level up Q and place points in W as an assistant skill. Place R when you have it.

Items
Starting Items
His Blue Card restores the mana and 3 Health Potions enable him to stay on lane for a longer time.

Core ItemsThe choice for last item can be various . And you can choose  if you play favorably.

The attack range for Twisted Fate is close, but his Q is powerful in consuming opponent HP in ranged area. Equip Rabadon's Deathcap as the first item, and then Lich Bane to ensure his output. As Twisted Fate is squishy, he can easily be the target of fire focus, and Zhonya's Hourglass can help him to survive when enemies focus fire the first time.
