A group of players planned to hold a small
LAN party in summer and emailed to VALVE for some help.
The host sent an email to VALVE. The major
content are: they are hosting a summer LAN party and around 17 people attend.
They will play DOTA2, CSS, TF2 and so on. They wish to have some VALVE related
goodies to hand out as gifts or prizes for coming to the LAN. They also
attached the activity page on facebook.
To their surprise, VALVE community manager
Mary replied that they will see what they can do and asked for their mailing
address. Players received gifts from VALVE soon.
